Under the creative direction of Danny Coster, Loco teamed up with Byron’s social media & PR agency, Splendid Communications, to create our latest mouth-watering burger video. We organised a location shoot at Byron’s Spitalfields restaurant for food specialist DOP, Peter Bathurst to film the new burger and its sticky barbeque glaze made with Bulleit Bourbon.
With a bit of clever art direction and the casting of a Byron team member as the bartender, we were able to give the East London setting more of a classic American bar atmosphere. The look and feel of our social media marketing video emphasises the collaboration between Byron Hamburgers and the Kentucky-born Bulleit Bourbon as they launch their new special menu item.
Loco’s Liam Hawe worked on location and in the studio to edit the rushes with Byron’s graphics and our colourist Jon Davey provided an appealing grade that was very much in keeping with the warm, amber tones of Bulleit’s smooth bourbon.
The film is performing well across Byron’s Facebook and Instagram channels, racking up more than 360 thousand views and high levels of positive engagement. Eager fans have taken to the comments section to ask Byron for more details about the burger and how to find their nearest restaurant. Some burger lovers have even posted their intention to make Byron their Valentine’s Day booking of choice.
