As part of Nicole Nodland’s photo shoot for British Vogue and Pandora Jewellery, she directed a video for the the Vogue iPad App as well as the Pandora and Vogue websites and YouTube channels. The video, A Colour Story, is grouped into three chapters – gold, blue and red, and the corresponding photographs will appear in next three issues of British Vogue – October, November, and December.

Editor Jon Davey worked closely with Nicole to create a piece that included alluring expressions of the three models, tempting close ups of the Pandora jewellery, and exciting behind-the-scenes moments from the photo shoot itself. Working with Red Camera footage gave Jon the opportunity to create a look in the grade that would emphasize the colour schemes featured in each chapter.

Loco also directed a music search for a suitable accompaniment for the piece. Felt Music’s composers Nick Dover & Dave Westlake provided the track, “Nicosia”, which fulfilled the brief for an uplifting and romantic track that would fit well with the Pandora brand.

Vogue recently redesigned it’s website to make it more user-friendly for smart phones and tablets, and it’s iPad App editions are now available on a monthly basis. We were pleased to be able to create a piece that would be a part of their re-vamped look and enriched experience for digital users.
