Clarins Hydra Essential
French luxury cosmetics company Clarins have commissioned Loco, as the moving image department of our parent company Loveurope, to provide adaptation services for their products’ advertising campaigns across the UK market.
For Clarins Hydra Essential, the marketing team provided us with the 30-second French TV commercial but requested that we leave out nearly one-third of the original creative from the UK versions. Our postproduction team had to re-edit and apply VFX to the remaining footage in order to create the 20 and 10 second TVCs.
We also sourced and recorded British talent to re-voice the campaign, as well as creating the clearance and broadcast masters. In addition to the TV campaign, Loco produced nearly 20 different deliverable files including portrait and square-shaped content and 5 and 6-second cut-downs for in-store, OOH, digital, and social media campaigns. Further services for this campaign were provided by Loveurope’s digital department which created assets for banner ads, animated gifs, mobile and rich media.
Loco and Loveurope continue to work across other brands in the Clarins Group portfolio including Azzaro and Thierry Mugler.
