Don’t know what to do to raise a laugh after the August Bank Holiday? Well, the best medicine for a bad case of the End of Summer Blues is a good dosing of BUG served up by Dr. Buckles. Yes, Adam Buxton returns from the Summer Holidays to host 3 shows, chock full of weird and wonderful music videos at the BFI Southbank in London on September 3rd and 10th (two shows in one night). Tickets for the London shows are available to purchase from the BFI website ticket office web site. If they are sold out, you can try the box office on the night of the show for any late returns.
The Brighton Digital Festival also welcomes BUG for a special Best of BUG show on 2 September at The Old Market. Check TOM’s website for tickets.
Loco has been the BUG postproduction partner since 2008 and continues to work with BUG curators and organisers, David Knight, Phil Tidy and Louise Stevens to prepare the onscreen content for the show. BUG features fantastic new music, innovative directors, YouTube comment hilarity, surreal interviews, and amusing video creations from Adam himself. For more examples of our work with BUG, click here. To find out more about Loco’s work with other events, click here. We also work on music videos, and you can read about those projects click here.
You can visit the BUG website to watch more of the vids, download programme notes, or join the mailing list to find out about forthcoming BUG events. If you need your BUG fix before the live show, you can watch the first in the new series of BUG programmes made exclusively for BFI player. Read here for more.
